CU Medicine Clinical Practice includes, but is not limited to Student Mental Health, Resident Mental Health, Faculty Practice, and the START Center. This clinical practice is a growing service which offers a broad set of services, including medication management, individual psychotherapy, couples and family psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, and consultation to faculty and staff. This position will provide administrative support, and assist with clinic management and operation.


_EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED_

  • This position will provide reception and other clerical responsibilities for the CU Medicine Clinical Practice. This may include:

o Triaging phone calls

o Scheduling patients through EPIC in several locations

o Registration

o Check in patients and manage reception desk

o Monitor and process clinical billing

o Log and track community provider referrals

o Scheduling meetings, distribution of mail, copying, faxing, etc

o Supporting faculty

o Insurance verification

o Billing services

o Payment collection and deposits

o Other duties as needed

  • Procurement purchases both through procurement card and CU Marketplace – training required for both

  • EPIC training to assist faculty with scheduling, reporting, printing, etc.

  • Department of Psychiatry mail coordination and any other duties as assigned

  • Responsible for internal department communication including creation and curation of monthly newsletters for department and sub-units, welcome emails, announcements, recognition, etc.

  • Assistance with web content and management, including quarterly solicitation and updates to ensure a dynamic web presence.

  • Coordination with education teams for alumni tracking and communication

  • Assistance with Annual Report

  • Assistance with external marketing and communication

  • Creation and management of social media platforms.

  • Management of communication boards.

  • Special events coordination/planning

  • Assisting faculty as needed

Salary and Benefits:

The hiring salary range for this position is $42,336 - $51,276 and is commensurate with skills and experience. This position is eligible for overtime compensation.

_Required Qualifications:__ _

  • Two years of general clerical experience. One of the years of experience must have included working in a professional, medical, or higher education setting.

_Substitution_:

  • Course work from an accredited college or university that is appropriate to the assignment may substitute on a year‐for‐year basis for the required experience.

_Preferred Qualifications_:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Professional experience working in an academic or educational institution

  • Professional experience within the University of Colorado system

  • Professional experience with EPIC

  • Demonstrated experience with internal communications processes

  • Experience with web and content management

  • Experience with social media management

  • Experience making travel arrangements, meeting preparations (i.e., ordering food, reserving meeting rooms), coordinating guest speakers, multitasking.
