*Nature of Work:*
The Division of Pulmonary Sciences and Critical Care Medicine is seeking qualified candidates to fill open-rank faculty positions at its affiliated hospitals. Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Pulmonary and/or Critical Care Medicine and eligible for licensure in the State of Colorado. Applicants should be enthusiastic about building an ICU program located at the new Highlands Ranch Hospital, scheduled to openMarch, 2019.
_Examples of Work Performed_
Help to develop the ICU care platform, in collaboration with medical, surgical, specialty, and anesthesia services
Provide ICU consultations with regularly scheduled daytime hours
Participate in a call schedule with other clinical faculty to provide 24/7 ICU coverage (e-ICU will provide first line coverage at night)
Provide inpatient Pulmonary consultations
Pulmonary outpatient clinic opportunity may exist as well
Engage in academic mission of the Division
_ Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities_
Knowledge of standard inpatient and outpatient clinical operations and procedures.
Knowledge of diagnosis in disorders and diseases of the lungs.
Ability to work independently, as well as serving as a team member.
Ability to lead projects including development of ICU care platform, and work in collaborative fashion with providers and hospital staff.
Skilled in the use of an EMR for patient charting and all standard office software.
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates will be responsible for travel expenses related to the interview process and any relocation expenses.

MD or DO
Training and background in Pulmonary and/or Critical Care Medicine or closely related training (ABIM, ACEP or other tracks are eligible)
Board certified or board eligible
