The Division of Infectious Diseases is recruiting a Transplant Infectious Diseases Faculty Position for the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Colorado School of Medicine on the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado. We are seeking candidates who have an established clinical or basic translational research program that is currently supported by extramural funding in fields related to Transplant Infectious Diseases of infectious complications in immunosuppressed individuals. In addition to research skills as noted, the successful candidate will be expected to provide leadership, mentorship and training as appropriate to medical students, residents, fellowship trainees, and/or graduate students. Academic rank is flexible based on the applicant’s career level and accomplishments. All academic ranks will be considered.
*Job Duties: *
Transplant Infectious Diseases patient care, teaching and research in an academic setting. The faculty member will join three existing Transplant ID faculty members and a large infectious division that contributes to patient care and call coverage. Duties will include advancing the Transplant Infectious Diseases research activities within the Division, with a component of inpatient and outpatient care of solid organ and bone marrow transplantation patients. Some additional general infectious disease clinical activities can be included if desired. Development of a funded research program in TID is strongly encouraged.

Medical degree (M.D., D.O., or equivalent), successful completion of ACGME-accredited infectious diseases fellowship, with either an additional TID fellowship year or demonstrably significant TID experience during ID fellowship. American Board of Internal Medicine certified in infectious diseases.
Experience or interest in basic, translational or clinical research with a publication and extramural funding record that are commensurate with academic rank.
