Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creates varied, and complex correspondence, utilizing a combination of professional experience/ knowledge and established guidelines/procedures and templates.

  • Assist with recruitment of faculty & staff, including managing interview scheduling, arranging travel, and providing administrative support for the search committee as needed.

  • Accurately track all related AEF expenses at the time of reimbursement.

  • Responsible for calendar management, prioritization of daily appointments, and organizing complex, time-sensitive meetings. Prepares routine, varied, and complex correspondence, utilizing a combination of professional experience/knowledge and established guidelines/procedures and templates

  • Assist with on and off-site event operations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the smooth execution of events.

  • Help with processing procurement forms and invoices, official functions, reimbursements, purchase orders, and travel arrangements, using all University systems such as: Concur Travel and Expense System, procurement card, travel card, and CU Medicine system strictly adhering to the University and CU Medicine policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

Entry Level:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, healthcare administration, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.

  • A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis.

Intermediate Level:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, healthcare administration, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.

  • A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis.

  • One (1) year of experience in a healthcare or administrative role.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with University of Colorado software such as Concur (or other travel process software), PeopleSoft, m-Fin, and HCM.

  • Experience in a university or healthcare environment.

  • Experience with planning meetings, conferences, and seminars.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.

  • Ability to produce accurate and timely work products.
