  • Oversee recruitment through the entire recruitment process and Onboarding of new employees.

  • Manage the posting of requisitions on various job boards and track efficacy of each site.

  • Works with the HR Program Manager to manage the hire process for temporary staff and working retiree hires.

  • Works with the HR Program Manager to manage the recruitment of internal administrative stipend process.

  • Recruitment approval process for the Assistant Professor promotion process.

  • Works with HR Program Manager on conflict resolution within the recruitment team

Minimum Qualifications:

Entry Level:

  • A bachelor's degree in public administration, public policy, business, higher education administration, social sciences, behavioral sciences or a directly related field from an accredited institution.

  • A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.

Intermediate Level:

  • A bachelor's degree in public administration, public policy, business, higher education administration, social sciences, behavioral sciences or a directly related field from an accredited institution.

  • A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.

  • One (1) year of professional level experience in Human Resources or Recruitment.

Senior Level:

  • A bachelor's degree in public administration, public policy, business, higher education administration, social sciences, behavioral sciences or a directly related field from an accredited institution.

  • A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.

  • Two (2) years of professional level experience of Human Resources or Recruitment.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing and handling sensitive and confidential information.

  • Experience in project management.

  • Experience with working in Smartsheet.

  • Experience using CU programs (Smartsheet, HCM, FIMS, Salesforce, or similar programs).

  • Experience working with students, staff, and faculty, within a higher education and/or academic medical environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and evaluate a broad range of laws, rules, and regulations in order to exercise good judgment in applying them to human resource challenges.

  • Knowledge of the professional standards, concepts, and practices of recruitment and selection, employee relations, or organizational development and human resource policy.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally, including public speaking.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.

  • Demonstrated commitment and leadership ability to advance diversity and inclusion.

  • Thorough knowledge of current management and leadership methods and best practices.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
