_Job Summary:_

Responsibilities for this position includes but is not limited to provision of pediatric emergency care in the Children's Hospital Colorado Emergency Department as well as possibility one or more of the satellite emergency departments and urgent care sites.

PLEASENOTE: Candidates may be responsible for travel expenses related to the interview process and any relocation expenses, if applicable.

*Nature of Work *

  • Provision of Medical Care

  • Teaching of housestaff and medical students

  • Patient referral to referring facilities and physicians, transport teams, families and the broader community Participation in and support of the clinical research activities of the Section of Emergency Medicine.

_Salary and Benefits:_

The salary range for this position is commensurate with skills and experience. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.

_Minimum Qualifications:_

  • MD or DO degree, board certification in Pediatrics.

  • Completion of fellowship training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.

  • Board certification/eligibility in Pediatric Emergency Medicine or Emergency Medicine.

  • Strong track record in clinical program development, research, and education.__

  • Experience with pediatric population; pediatric emergency medicine, critical care or urgent care exposure ideal. __

  • Ability to work day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

_Preferred Qualifications:_

  • Previous supervisory experience

  • Previous acute care experience

  • Ability to handle fast paced acute care environment

  • Demonstrated professionalism and teamwork mentality
