Course director for courses within the Program. Role includes teaching and administrative responsibilities and developing syllabi, objectives, teaching strategies, and assessments. Provide curricular logistical support throughout curriculum.
Small group facilitator in core courses.
Guest lecturer in Program and institutional courses as invited.
Assist with the development and administration of assessment cases for 1st-3rd year students at the CAPE Center.
Participate in the collection of ongoing program self-evaluation and improvement data for grant writing, accreditation reports and other documents required of the program.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies, or equivalent.
Graduate of an accredited PA program.
Two years of clinical experience.
Two years of academic experience, which may be fulfilled by precepting.
Documented evidence of development of curricular content.
Current NCCPA certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two (2) years of full-time teaching experience.
Three (3) years of experience in a primary care setting.
Prior leadership experience.
Evidence of scholarly contributions to the profession.
Documented experience with curricula design.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Self-starter, reliable with a strong work ethic.
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent organization and analytical skills, including attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities and work in a highly collaborative environment as a member of a team.
High-level critical/conceptual thinking skills.
Knowledge of learning theory and experience with the application in instructional design.
