Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Assistant Professor:

  • Doctor of Medicine degree

  • Board Certified or Board Qualified in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery

  • If Board Qualified, must receive Board Certification within 2 years of hire.

  • Board Eligible in Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery

  • Fellowship trained in Pediatric Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery

  • Ability to obtain a Colorado medical license

Associate Professor:

  • Doctor of Medicine degree

  • Board Certified in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery

  • Board Eligible in Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery

  • Fellowship trained in Pediatric Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery

  • 4+ years of experience at rank or equivalent experience

  • Ability to obtain a Colorado medical license

  • Demonstrated commitment and ability to develop a successful community-based practice

The Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery is seeking a full-time pediatric otolaryngologist faculty member for its pediatric practice at Children's Hospital Colorado, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Medicine's mission is to provide outstanding, cutting-edge clinical care, research, and state-of-the-art training. The Department is seeking a board-eligible or board-qualified pediatric otolaryngologist to join the full-time faculty.

The starting salary range () for this position has been established as Assistant Professor: $260,000 - $300,000. Associate Professor: $270,000 - $325,000. The above salary range () represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
