_WORK ENVIRONMENT:_Very few Psychiatry positions provide such a professionally satisfying practice setting with integrated support systems, including on-campus counseling centers; extremely positive clinical atmosphere with on-site administrative leadership; low staff turn-over rate; diverse patient base with varying levels of diagnostic complexity. _SETTING:_**College Health Center serving all three institutions of higher education on the Auraria Campus in downtown Denver, Colorado. This includes Metropolitan State University of Denver, University of Colorado-Denver and Community College of Denver. Clientele age range is from 18 to 60 ( ) and include students, faculty and staff. The Psychiatry practice is integrated with the general medicine practice, providing collaborative resources for patient care.
_OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES:_**Provides psychiatric services, psychiatric medical care and medication management to students, faculty and staff on the Auraria Campus. General work schedule is M-F 8-5. In addition, there will be consultations and training sessions with mental health professionals at the three campus Counseling Centers. Position serves on the CARE Team (behavioral intervention team) for one of the institutions. Fully automated electronic medical record system is utilized. Faculty appointment in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is at a level commensurate with experience. Two weeks per year of covering psychiatry residents at the University of Colorado Hospital is required.

_REQUIREMENTS__:_Licensed Psychiatrist (M.D. or D.O.) in good standing in the State of Colorado or eligible for licensure in Colorado, with no practice restrictions. Needs to work well in a collaborative work environment associated with being part of a group practice with common practice guidelines and expectations. Applicants must have the ability to practice efficiently including staying on time with clients and ensuring that all clinical documentation is maintained daily.
