Director of Volleyball Operations

The Athletics Department now welcomes applications for a Director of Volleyball Operations. The purpose of this position is to assist the Head Coach in the daily operations of the women's volleyball program. The position will have responsibility for team travel, scheduling of events and game day activities. This position plays a critical role in the development of recruiting materials for the volleyball program and managing the recruiting and compliance database and reporting software. The position assists in all aspects of volleyball video operations and is the secondary contact for film exchange requests and practices requests. The position will assist coaches and student athletes with NCAA policies, PAC 12 Conference policies and will oversee and maintain compliance records.
This position is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program. This shall include adhering to the principles of the Athletic Department’s Mission Statement,Diversity and Inclusion Mission Statement, Core Values, Policies and Procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University, the Pac 12 Conference and the NCAA.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Assist coaches with on-campus recruiting events for prospective student athletes. Coordinates game day operations and facilities for team practices.
Direct contact for Athletic Administration , Academic Services, Training Table, Equipment Staff, Training Room, Strength and Conditioning, Team Compliance, Ticket Office, Business Office, Housing, Conferences and Events and all other issues related to the Volleyball program.
Recruiting Program Support
Coordinate recruiting travel and processing of recruiting data in compliance/recruiting database. Plan, arrange, and assist in executing recruiting visits on campus.
Create recruiting and program materials and arrange distribution to recruits, alumni , and other support groups.
Student Athlete Development
Develop, plan, and coordinate programs for student athlete development and service activities.
This will include various team functions, team-building programs, campus events and community outreach.

The anticipated starting salary for this position is $50,000.00.

What We Require
Experience either playing or working with a collegiate athletic program, preferably Volleyball.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.
What You Will Need
Excellent organizational aptitude.
Excellent technological capabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to organize, create, and implement effective program recruiting materials.
What We Would Like You To Have
One year of experience with a Division I sport program in operations.
Experience using recruiting/ compliance software.
Experience using creative design software.
Experience using University financial budgeting/accounting systems.
