Job Summary

The position will assist in the daily coordination and recruitment for a National Institute of Nursing Research-funded randomized clinical trial of a multi-modal behavioral intervention for distressed patients with metastatic cancer. The project is conducted in collaboration with community cancer care sites throughout Colorado.

Who We Are

The Arch Lab is based in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience under the direction of Joanna Arch, Ph.D. Dr. Archs research focuses on anxiety disorders and mindfulness-based behavioral interventions particularly in the context of cancer.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

This position's primary responsibility will be to assist in recruiting and administering measures to participants. It will also assist in daily lab management tasks such as attending and organizing meetings and maintaining lab equipment.

What We Can Offer

This is an hourly, bi-weekly, part-time Temporary Researcher position. The pay rate is $22.00 per hour. It includes sick leave of 0.034 hours of sick leave for every hour worked, and accruals are calculated after each bi-weekly payroll cycle. It does not include vacation leave.

What We Require

Candidates should have a B.A. in Psychology or a related field as well as experience working with anxiety, palliative care or psycho-oncology research and populations.
