The Office of the Registrar has an opening for a full-time University Staff (unclassified) Degree Audit Specialist position.

As part of the Graduation Services team, the Degree Audit Specialist plays an integral role in facilitating the development, enhancement, maintenance, and campus-wide use of the degree audit system and all of its components. This position will perform the technical encoding of degree audit programs, provide analysis of data integrity through the systems, advise academic administrators and staff on curriculum and/or course changes, assist in the production of materials and training of campus staff and students in the use of the degree audit, write documentation for department process, and promote campus-wide use of the degree audit system. The degree audit systems include, but are not limited to, degree audit, scheduler, and planner systems. This position will play an integral role in the advancement and support of the degree audit processes, testing new systems and maintaining a continuity of service with upgrades and new systems associated with degree audit. In addition, this role will provide support to the Graduate Services team in periods of peak activity in any areas that are needed, to include but not be limited to, graduation review and degree posting related tasks and answering/responding to students on graduation or diploma questions.

_Salary and Benefits:_

The hiring range for this position has been established at $37,937 to $45,000 and is commensurate with skills and experience.

_Minimum Qualifications: _

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and 1 year of professional level experience with degree auditing in a higher education setting.

Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.

_Preferred Qualifications:_

  • Experience working with degree audit systems.

  • Experience working in a higher education setting, particularly a Registrar’s Office.

  • Experience with academic advising and/or curriculum evaluation.

  • Experience with training professionals and/or students on the use of technology.
